My approach is collaborative as I believe you are the expert on you. I have been told before that I am "not very clinical." Some people appreciate this about me but others may not and that's okay. If you are looking for someone to tell you what to do, I may not be the clinician for you. I won't tell you what I think you should do because I believe the best approach is to work together to find what works for you. I am very down-to-earth and transparent. I believe in honesty that is also kind.

I use various modalities, such as EMDR, neurofeedback, and guided imagery; although, my primary approach is person-centered therapy with cognitive-behavioral therapy. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. While some people may wish to speak about their trauma directly, which can be done in a safe and non-retraumatizing manner, working through trauma can also be done without actually talking about the trauma. I provide therapy for individual adults, ages 18 and up. I have been trained by WPATH standards of care to write gender affirming letters of support and I believe everyone has the right to make choices about their body and how they experience the world.

I love all animals and have several pets. I am at my happiest when I am out in nature going on adventures with my dog. I grew up in the military, which has provided me with a personal understanding of military culture and allowed me to travel all over the U.S. and in Europe. Even though I am not originally from Oregon, my favorite place to visit is the beautiful Oregon Coast. Oregon is my chosen home
