If you begin to understand what you are without trying to change it, then what you are undergoes a transformation. —Jiddu Krishnamurti
Every individual has an innate healing wisdom capable of guiding them to fulfill their truest values and aspirations. I blend acceptance and commitment therapy with parts work approaches to support finding your own answers to the challenges and opportunities that are unique to your experience. By listening with curiosity, compassion, and courage to every aspect of your being, you can identify what is serving and what is getting in the way throughout the many trials and joys you might face. My commitment is to stay present and supportive as you step toward true wellness and resilience on your journey through life.
You are a complex being with a complex mind living in a complex world. Taking the time and enlisting help along the way to make sense of it all is a truly courageous act in service of living your best life—even in the face of real pain and difficult circumstances. It can be hard to believe that we each have a deep, abiding Self that knows the way of total healing and growth. Our work together will be a journey of discovery, to explore the layers of protection and armor that safeguard—and sometimes obscure—that deeper wisdom.
I utilize mindfulness, somatic processing, and transpersonal psychology for a holistic approach with clients. Progress in our work will depend utterly on your consent and honor your boundaries as we progress toward healing the deepest wounds. I recognize that we each have a multicultural history that includes a legacy of both supportive and truly damaging beliefs and behaviors that must be acknowledged and demand appropriate response. I believe that the natural world is an ally in the healing journey. Together we will explore it all with integrity and respect every step of the way.
