“The wounded become the healers. Your pain will not be wasted. Trust it. Be brave enough to be still in it and you’ll learn that your pain will NOT consume you. It will become the fire you burn to light and warm the world.”

Erin has spent over 20 years providing care to a wonderful variety of folks in settings such as schools, home-based programs, community mental health and private practice. Her approach has always been client-centered, collaborative and she is privileged to have advanced training in EMDR and Art Therapy and feels passionate about creative approaches to traditional talk therapy. This value was the foundation for starting Alive - creating a group of highly skilled providers who are not only strong in evidenced based approaches but understand that there is, at times, the need to reach beyond analyzing and verbal processing to tap into the soft, chewy center of our humanity.
Although Erin is no longer providing direct client care, she is very hands on with the client care her team gives by way of providing supervision, consultation and oversight. She is also cultivating a professional culture of equity and anti-oppression work for all marginalized groups, but in particular our BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ community members.
Erin enjoys the humbling commitment to being a lifelong learner and appreciates that being on both sides of the therapeutic process throughout her life has shaped her vision, sense of humor and love of people.
