Trauma is not what happens to you, it is what happens inside of you as a result of what happens to you.” —Gabor Mate

As a clinician, I pride myself on being honest, kind, empathetic, and consistent. My own experiences with life's hardships have shaped my desire to work with children, families, and young adults. I am dedicated to seeing my clients succeed, and I believe that learning to accept our circumstances, utilizing our skills, and working through trauma are key components of success.

I have a wealth of experience working with individuals who are chronically ill or in pain, and it brings me great joy to help people recognize their strengths and become the best versions of themselves. I particularly enjoy supporting those who have felt marginalized or excluded, helping them find a place where they feel accepted.

With over 20 years of experience working with children and families, I began my clinical practice in 2020. My passion has always been people, and I am committed to helping them see their value. In addition to my in-person work, I have also been a telehealth therapist for three years and find fulfillment in both settings.

On a personal note, I am the proud owner of three wonderful dogs: Calamity Jane, a 15-year-old Chiweenie inherited from my mother; Cooper, a gentle and calm 3-year-old Golden Labradoodle; and Lucy, a lively 6-month-old Australian Sheepadoodle. I am also the mother of a teenage daughter.

Having lived in Oregon for 20 years, I bring a global perspective from my experiences as a military child. I am passionate about equity of services and have a strong commitment to working with LGBTQIA+ youth, currently undergoing further training to support Trans individuals. My background as a Child welfare caseworker has provided me with valuable insights and procedural knowledge that benefit my clients in the system.

I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey toward healing and growth.
